SUPARCO, being the National Space Agency of Pakistan, has also been celebrating the World Space Week every year with a number of activities since the year 2005.

The World Space Week is celebrated from October 4 to 10 every year to celebrate the contributions of space science and technology to the betterment of the human condition.

World Space Week is highlighting the benefits of space exploration and promoting international cooperation in space activities.

Established by the United Nations, it commemorates two significant milestones: the launch of Sputnik 1 on October 4, 1957, and the signing of the Outer Space Treaty on October 10, 1967.
