Emergency imposed in Rawalpindi owing to uncontrollable spread of dengue virus

Rawalpindi: One after another dengue virus attacks in Rawalpindi owing to which Deputy Commissioner (DC) has imposed an emergency across the district.

As many as 134 cases of the virus reported in the last 24 hours. While 268 patients are under treatment in the different hospitals of the city.

Potohar town areas have become center of the dengue virus.

According to the health ministry as many as 277 dengue cases have confirmed so far while nine patients of the virus have died in the current season.

As per the health ministry, 99 patients of the virus under treatment in Benazir Bhutto general hospital, 70 in Holly family hospital.

Besides that 51 patients have admitted in District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) while 48 are in Fauji foundation
In the last 24 hours 57 cases of dengue virus emerged in Potohar town while 22 cases in the areas of Municipal Corporation .

Rawalpindi contonment areas 28 while 11 cases emerged in Pothohar ruler areas.

At least 143 dengue cases have surfaced across the province..
