Islamabad: The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) heads of government 23 rd summit has started at convention center in the chair of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
In his inauguration speech the Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif welcomed heads of the states and representatives of the SCO states.
The PM said that holding of the SCO summit in Pakistan is an honour for our country.
The premier said that the SCO countries are 40 percent of the world population while for durable development there is need of regional cooperation and promotion of relations.
The today’s meeting is providing a vital opportunity to increase regional cooperation, the PM said.
Shahbaz Sharif said that we have to provide better standard of living and facilitation to our people.
