Web desk: Israeli soccer fans were reportedly attacked in a “serious incident of violence” in Amsterdam on Thursday night.
According to local authorities, the attack occurred ahead of a soccer match between the Israeli team Maccabi Haifa and Ajax Amsterdam.

In a statement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the violence “serious” and announced two rescue planes would be dispatched immediately to assist Israeli citizens.
