BEIRUT: Israeli airstrikes struck the village of Khreibeh in the Baalbek District of eastern Lebanon on Saturday, killing six people, including three children, and injuring 11 others, Lebanon’s Health Ministry confirmed.
Among the wounded, five were children, two of whom are in critical condition, the ministry said.
Earlier the same day, Israeli airstrikes also resulted in the deaths of two medical workers in southern Lebanon—one in Borj Rahal and another in Kfartebnit—while four other rescue workers injured. Two of the injured remain missing, the ministry added.
