Imran Khan strongly condemns firing incident from either side in final protest call: Barrister Gohar

Rawalpindi: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Barrister Gohar has said that we met first time with the founding chairman Imran Khan after final call of the protest today while we informed him about the protest and provided information on the other matters.

Talking to media with other leaders after meeting with Imran Khan outside the Adyala Jail, Chairman Gohar said that Imran Khan was not aware what happened during the protest.

Imran Khan expressed immense grief over deaths in the protest either of PTI activists or Rangers or police.

The founding chairman said that wherever the sit-in, protest in Islamabad bullets should have not fired. While he in strong words condemned the firing incident in the protest.

Imran said that whether we were Sangjani or any other place, we should not have been shot at while he condemned firing incident from either side.

Imran Khan ordered us to taking care of injured while he also gave message to the party that to retain their unity.

He also ordered to participate in the National Assembly, provincial assemblies and Senate session to raise the issues regarding the PTI.

Chairman Gohar said that Imran Khan is perfectly alright and news regarding his health were not right .
He claimed that 12 people of PTI were lost their lives during the protest while he said that our aim is neither to reach D Chowk and nor leaders were ordered regarding this.

He said that people were talking of Sangjani and D Chowk to divert attention from dead people of PTI.

He said that we will continue political struggle and no ban imposed on the PTI. He said that the party hold accountability it self. We didn’t believe in audio leaks.

Moreover he said that who ever fired the bullet it is wrong. While he apprised that he has held five meetings with Chief Minister KP Ali Ameen Gandapur.

However he said that he can’t say anything regarding talks with establishment.
