Islamabad: A anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday issued arrest warrants of founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, his wife Bushra Bibi and other 96 accused over the protest in Islamabad on November 24.
The ATC Islamabad has issued the arrest warrants of the PTI leaders and other people over their protest in D Chowk of Islamabad.
Earlier in the day, Imran Khan has been arrested in 7 new cases.
The trial against founder PTI on September 28 protest was held in Adiala Jail.
The PTI founding chairman was produced before the court after 6 days of physical remand, prosecution team did not plead for further physical remand .
As the prosecution did not request further remand, the court sent PTI founder to jail on judicial remand.
On the other hand, Rawalpindi police arrested Imran Khan in 7more new cases.
Notable, that cases have been registered in different police stations against Imran Khan for calling for a protest in Islamabad on November 24.
