SHEIKHUPURA: The notification for the holiday has issued by the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, due to by-elections in the Sheikhupura district of Punjab.
A by-election for the Punjab Assembly constituency PP-139 Ferozewala will be held on December 5. In light of the election, a public holiday has been declared in the district for that day. The notification for the holiday has been issued by the Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
The PP-139 seat became vacant following the passing of Rana Afzal Hussain, who had previously won the seat in a by-election after Rana Tanveer Hussain vacated it
