DUBAI: In the final of the Under-19 Asia Cup, Bangladesh outclassed India, defeating them by 59 runs and claim the title.
The match took place in Dubai, where Bangladesh’s innings did not start well. Klam Siddique was dismissed for just one run, but after that, the runs kept coming, although wickets also fell regularly.
Bangladesh’s team was bowled out for 198 runs in the last over. Mohammad Shahab contributed 40 runs, Razzan Hossain made 47, and Fareed Hassan scored 39 runs.
In pursuit of the target, the Indian team struggled from the start. They lost their first wicket at just four runs, and wickets continued to fall. Captain Mohammad Aman top-scored with 26 runs, and the entire team was dismissed for 139 runs. As a result, Bangladesh won the title by defeating India by 59 runs.
