Hafiz Naeem hints at starting movement again against expensive electricity and IPPs

Karachi: Jamat-e-Islami Pakistan (JI) Chief Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman has announced a million march for expressing solidarity with Palestinians.

Addressing a presser in Karachi at the city headquarter of the party Idara-Nore-Haq, Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that while he hinted that he can again launch a movement on the mater of International Power Producers (IPPs).

The JI Chief said that if someone thinks that the government who had brokered deal with the IPPs will not provide benefit of it to the masses and will not felicitate the masses and we will keep idle, it will not going to happen.

He said that we are waiting from the government to announce benefit to people after brokering deal with the IPPs

Otherwise we can launch a movement again over the expensive electricity rates, he adds.

He said that there is loot and plunder around the country on the name of the privitisation while he said that the country will progress when all the institutions work in its domain.

He said that democracy in Pakistan is in hands of powerful and in control of the establishment

He said that all the parties of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) are responsible for the current situation of the country.

He said that we will welcome end of the government based on coercion in Syria and also welcome establishment of peace in the middle eastern country.

Furthermore he said that thousands of people of Palestine have lost their lives in the cruel aggression of Israel which has been continued for the last 15 months.
