Beijing: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has said that Pakistan-China friendship is as strong and tested as steel.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz met the Minister of International Department of Communist Party of China Liu Jianchau in Beijing, Maryam Nawaz thanked Minister Liu Jianchau for the warm welcome and appreciated the visionary leadership of the Communist Party of China.
Speaking during the meeting, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said that the Chinese leadership provided guidance to China in emerging as a global power, the role of the Communist Party of China is key in promoting Pakistan-China relations.
She said, increasing communication at the public level is playing an important role in the formation of Pakistan-China community, Pakistan-China friendship is a sustainable relationship that is not affected by the vicissitudes of regional and international politics.
Maryam Nawaz said that they want to benefit from China’s experiences for local governance and rural development, they will appreciate China’s cooperation for youth empowerment and capacity building, they want full cooperation from China in the vocational training program, increasing Public relations and cultural relations are the heritage and legacy of the Silk Road.
He further said that sustainable measures will be taken for cultural links between China and Punjab, attention should be paid to the young generation to nurture the legacy of Pakistan-China relations.
Minister of International Department of Communist Party of China Liu Jianchau thanked Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for her visit, while Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed her gratitude to Minister Liu Jianchau for his wonderful hospitality.
