Earlier, in the first test, the host South Africa had defeated the guest Pakistan by two wickets in Centurion.
Proteas achieved the 148 runs target after losing eight wickets while South Africa also qualified for final of international test championship.
The host’s 9th wicket scored successful 51-run partnership between Marco Jansen 16 and Kagiso Rabada 31. Captain Temba Bavuma remained highest scorer with 40 runs followed by Aiden Markram scoring 37 runs.
From Pakistan side Muhammad Abbass took six wickets while Naseem Shah and Khurram Shahzad got one wicket each.
