LAHORE: Several train services disrupted owing to cold weather and dense fog, passengers faced difficulties in extreme cold.
The train operations in Pakistan faced on Saturday severe disruption due to harsh weather conditions and dense fog, with delays of up to nine hours causing significant inconvenience to passengers.
The Karakoram Express, travelling from Lahore to Karachi, was delayed by seven hours, leaving passengers waiting in freezing temperatures.
Similarly, the Business Express from Lahore was reported to have departed with a delay of seven and a half hours.
Pakistan Express also experienced more than five hours of delay, adding to the growing frustrations of travellers.
The passengers endured significant difficulties while waiting for their trains amidst the biting cold, as the fog continued to disrupt railway schedules across the country.
