WEB DESK: In the village of Helmat in Neelum Valley, a pregnant woman dies along with her child due to lack of medical assistance.
According to the detail, pregnant woman passed away along with her child due to the lack of medical aid. According to the relatives, the woman was brought to the local ADS hospital after her condition worsened. They mentioned that due to the absence of a nurse at the ADS hospital, the patient was referred to the DHQ hospital.
Relatives stated that due to the road being blocked, the woman was being carried on shoulders when she passed away along the way.
It is noteworthy that the road to Grace Valley has been closed for 15 days due to snowfall. The administration has stated that the road has not been restored because the excavator is out of order.
In the country’s mountainous areas, local people are protesting against the road blockages caused by snowfall.
