GOA: The 44-year-old producer of Rajinikanth’s film has committed suicide due to financial difficulties.
According to media, KP Choudhary, a prominent producer in the Tamil film industry, took his own life. He had produced Rajinikanth’s 2016 film Kabali, which had earned over Rs.2500 million at the box office.
Media reports state that KP Choudhary’s body was found in the tourist city of Goa, and authorities have confirmed his suicide.
Reports mention that the reasons for his suicide remain unclear, although his financial situation was not stable. Additionally, in 2023, the police had arrested KP Choudhary in a drug case, where more than 82 grams of heroin were seized from him, and he had admitted to using drugs.
