New York: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Munir Akram has said the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres will soon appoint a special envoy to lead efforts towards combating Islamophobia.
In his message on the International Day to Combat Islamophobia, he said Pakistan and the OIC countries will work with the Secretary-General and his special envoy to develop a concrete plan of action to combat Islamophobia.
