WEB DESK: The eagerly awaited fourth chapter of Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish franchise has faced yet another roadblock, resulting in a postponement of its release to 2026.
Hrithik Roshan’s eagerly awaited Krrish 4 has encountered significant hurdles, largely due to its ambitious budget of ₹700 crores. This financial challenge has consequently delayed the film’s release to 2026.
According to reports, the production of Krrish 4 has faced a setback as no studio is willing to invest such a substantial amount, given the perceived risks involved.
A source revealed, Krrish 4 requires a budget of approximately ₹700 crores, but studios are reluctant to commit to such a high expenditure, particularly in a post-Marvel landscape.”
The hesitation stems from doubts regarding the relevance of the Krrish franchise after more than a decade since the last installment.
Siddharth Anand, who was initially entrusted with securing studio backing for the project, along with his production house Marflix, is no longer involved in the process. Consequently, Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan are now directly engaging with studios nationwide to negotiate a viable deal for the film under their banner, FilmKraft.
The development has sparked conversations in the industry about the changing dynamics of superhero films and the challenges faced by Indian franchises in this evolving landscape.
Fans are left eagerly awaiting updates as the Roshan family works to bring Krrish 4 to fruition.
