Sialkot: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday today, paid a visit to the frontline areas of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos in Pasroor cantt in Sialkot during the ongoing Maarka-e-Haq (Battle for Truth), reaffirming his support and solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan.
The PM called on soldiers, officers who participated in Operation Bunaynun Marsoos in response of Indian aggression.
The PM praised their unwavering dedication and valor in defending the nation’s sovereignty.
Deputy Prime Minister-cum-Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zahir Ahmed Baber Siddhu were accompanied with the premier.
Besides that Federal Ministers Ahsan Iqbal, Attaullah Tarar, Corps Commander Sialkot and other high civil and military leadership were present at the occasion.
The prime minister’s will address to officers and soldiers at Pasrur Garrison this evening, described as a historic interaction with the nation’s defenders.
The premier will also visit Air and Naval bases in next few days for meeting officers and soldiers of Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Navy.
