ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet has decided to continue the services of Air Chief Marshal Zahir Ahmed Babar Sadooh upon the completion of his tenure, in recognition of his significant role in delivering a decisive defeat to the enemy during Operation Binyan Muras.
In the federal cabinet meeting It was unanimously decided to continue the services of Air Chief Marshal Zahir Ahmed Babar after his tenure ends. The Pakistan Air Force played a key role in Operation Binyan Marsoos under the leadership of Air Chief Marshal Zahir Ahmed Babar against India.
It is noteworthy that the Chief of the Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Zahir Ahmed Babar is a four-star Air Force officer and the 16th Chief of Air Staff of Pakistan. He assumed command of the Air Force on March 19, 2021, succeeding his predecessor, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan.
According to the announcement, the Federal Cabinet has approved the promotion of General Syed Asim Munir (Nishan-e-Imtiaz Military) to the rank of Field Marshal.General Asim Munir was promoted to the rank of Field Marshal in recognition of his high-level strategy during Operation Binyan Muras and his decisive defeat of the enemy.
