RAWALPINDI: 14 militants killed in a security forces operation in North Waziristan.
According to the ISPR, on June 2 and 3, 2025, security forces conducted an operation in the general area of Dattakhel, North Waziristan, based on confidential intelligence. The operation targeted hideouts believed to be occupied by Khawarij, referred to as “Fitna al-Khawarij,” who are suspected to have links with Indian agents.
ISPR reported that, during the operation, our forces effectively targeted the Khawarij hideouts operating under Indian patronage. Following intense crossfire, fourteen Indian-backed Khawarij militants were neutralized.
ISPR also stated that, clearance (sanitization) operations are ongoing in the area to eliminate any remaining Indian-supported Khawarij elements. Pakistan’s security forces remain determined to root out the menace of terrorism funded and supported by India from the country.
