MQM-P delegation calls on PM to present its suggestions on budget

Islamabad: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) delegation led by its Chairman and Federal Minister for Education Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddique called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The PM consulted the MQM-P delegation on the upcoming budget for the fiscal year 2025-2026 whereas the MQM-P delegation presented its suggestions regarding the budget to the PM.

Talking to the MQM-P delegation, the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the work on the K-4 project will be speed up adding that the green line project is in the foremost priority of the federal government for providing the best transport facilities for people of Karachi.

The premier said that directions have also been issued regarding boosting up work on Karachi-Hybderabad package.

The MQM-P delegation comprises Federal Minister for health Syed Mustafa Kamal, members of the National Assembly, Dr Farooq Sattar, Amin Ul Haq and Javeed Hanif.

Whereas, Deputy Prime Minister-Cum-Foriegn Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Ministers Ahsan Iqbal, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, Azam Nazeer Tarar, Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Rana Mubashir Iqbal, the PM advisor on political affairs Rana Sana Ullah, the PM’s special assistant Talha Burki were also present in the meeting.
