Pakistan armed forces extend Eid Greetings, honor martyrs’ sacrifices

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan military has conveyed warm Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the nation, emphasizing the core values of sacrifice, unity, and resilience that underpin this sacred festival.

In a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), senior military leaders—including Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, along with chiefs of the army, air force, and navy—joined in congratulating the people of Pakistan on the occasion of Eid.The military leaders expressed their prayers for “national harmony, enduring peace, and ongoing prosperity,” reaffirming their dedication to protecting the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in partnership with the Pakistani people.

Highlighting the importance of the day, the statement praised the unwavering determination and independence of the nation, while also paying homage to the sacrifices made by armed forces personnel, law enforcement agencies, and courageous civilians in safeguarding the nation.“The spirit of sacrifice, unity, and brotherhood resonates strongly on this blessed day,” the ISPR remarked.

The message also paid special tribute to the families of martyrs, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to Pakistan’s peace and stability. “The sacrifices of our martyrs form the very foundation of our strength and resilience,” it stated.The military leadership underscored that Eid-ul-Adha serves as a reminder to strengthen bonds of national solidarity. “Through collective effort and shared sacrifice, we can continue to defend our homeland’s dignity and uphold its freedom,” the ISPR emphasized.

Concluding their message, the armed forces extended their best wishes to all Pakistanis, reaffirming their commitment to stand firm in defending the nation against all threats and to work together with the people for peace, progress, and development.
