MARDAN: Tragedy Strikes Irum Colony as Blast Destroys Home and Causes Fatalities
A devastating explosion rocked Mardan’s Irum Colony late on Friday night, resulting in the death of six family members and injuring two others. According to rescue officials, the incident was caused by a gas cylinder blast that led to the collapse of a two-story house’s roof.The blast occurred around midnight, causing the upper floor of the residence to cave in and trapping residents beneath the debris. Emergency response teams from Rescue 1122 arrived promptly after receiving the alert and launched a challenging search and rescue operation.
