ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s unjustified and illegal attack on Iran. The Foreign Office stated that this strike is a serious violation of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and is contrary to the United Nations Charter and international law.
Pakistan expressed solidarity with the people of Iran and emphasized that such provocative actions pose a serious threat to peace, security, and stability in the region and beyond.
The spokesperson clarified that, the Islamic Republic of Iran retains its right to self-defense under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.
Pakistani government called on the international community and the United Nations to take immediate notice of this aggression, uphold international law, and hold the attacking country accountable for its actions. Pakistan described this incident as a concerning development for regional peace and stability.
