Reham Khan’s Party logo draws imitation allegations online

ISLAMABAD: Social media users quickly noticed a striking similarity between the logo of Reham Khan’s newly launched political Party and the insignia of the United States department of Homeland security.

Reham Khan, former wife of Imran Khan, introduced her new political entity, the Pakistan Republic Party (PRP) along with its official emblem, the party ’s stated goal is to ampilfy the voices of women, farmers, and marginalised communities.

However, attention soon shifted away from the party’s formation to its logo, which sparked widespread debate on social media, Many online critics pointed out that the PRP’s logo bears a remarkable resemblance to that of outright copying.

Karachi based journalist Abdul Jabbar Nasir starred his opinion of Facebook, “Reham Khan’s Pakistan Republic Party has unveiled its logo, but it looks like it was either hastily put together or directly lifted from the U.S department of Homeland security, from one emblem to the other, the similarities are hard to ignore”
