Peshawar: New members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly elected on the reserved seat took oath of their office today at Governor House, KP in Peshawar this evening.
Governor KP Faisal Kareem Kundi administered oath of their offices from the MPAs.
The MPAs could not take oath of their office today in the KP assembly as the speaker of the assembly adjourned the session on the pointing of the quorum till July 24 at 2 pm.
Later the MPAs approached the Peshawar High Court (PHC) where Chief Justice nominated Governor KP Faisal Kareem Kundi to take oath of their offices.
The court order issued stated that the Governor KP to ensure oath taking of the MPAs while secretary assembly render services for conducting their signature on the new members roll of numbers.
