WEB DESK: The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has officially announced the schedule for the much-anticipated Asia Cup 2025, confirming a thrilling clash between arch-rivals Pakistan and India.
The tournament, set to be played in the T20I format, will take place from September 9 to 28, 2025, in the United Arab Emirates.
The tournament will feature eight teams, divided into two groups. Group A will include Pakistan, India, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates, while Group B will consist of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong. The top two teams from each group will move on to the Super Four stage, and the top two from that phase will compete for the final on September 28.
The much-awaited encounter between Pakistan and India is scheduled for September 14, 2025. This clash is set to be one of the most watched matches of the tournament. The tournament will kick off on September 9, with Afghanistan taking on Hong Kong in the opening game.
Earlier, Mohsin Naqvi, the ACC President, made the official announcement via his social media account on X, sharing the excitement surrounding the 2025 Asia Cup and its highly
