Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to recruit 102 experts in their fields for an audit of the 42 industries in the country.
The FBR sources said that the appointment of the field experts will make possible an audit of the main industries of the country.
The Human Resources Companies will ensure quality of the audit experts, the FBR sources said.
The FBR sources said that a selection committee will review qualification of the experts.
Sources said that automotive, aviation, banking, beverages, cement industries are included in an audit list.
Similarly, ceramics, chemical, coal, departmental stores, edible oil industries will also undergo audit, sources said.
Sources said that the fields of education, electronics, feed, fertiliser, flour mills, food importers are also among the audit list.
Besides that IT, manufacturing, batteries, copper, mobile, paper, chip board sectors are also included in the audit list, the sources said.
The sources further added that plastic, poultry, power, real estate, restaurants,marquees industries will also be audited.
Moreover, textile, Iron and steel, IPPs and DISCOs will also come under eyes of audit, the sources apprised.
Pharmaceutical firms, finance and insurance , sugar, rice mills, services, tobacco industries are also added in the audit list.
As many as 17 industries will be conducted field audit in the first phase, the FBR sources said.
