India harasses Pakistani diplomats in New Delhi, orders four to vacate residences

WEB DESK: India has reportedly begun harassing Pakistani diplomats in New Delhi, four Pakistani diplomats have been served notices to vacate their residences. These diplomats are residing in private accommodations on rent.

Sources indicate that the notices were issued by the property owners before the expiry of their lease agreements. It is also reported that the Pakistani diplomats are under constant surveillance, and their household utilities such as gas and internet services are being periodically cut off.

Furthermore, it is said that the visas of 17 staff members, including diplomats, are facing delays in renewal by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs. An application for visa extensions for these 17 Pakistani personnel was submitted 3 to 5 months ago, but the process remains pending.

Additionally, the water supply to the Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi has been cut off, and for the past month and a half, the delivery of Indian newspapers to the High Commission has also been halted.

Sources reveal that the Pakistani High Commission has informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs about these developments.
