Karachi: Author and Peoples Party Shaheed Bhutto Party (PPSB) leader Fatima Bhutto lambasted on the Sindh government as rain-induced floods brought life to a standstill across Karachi on Tuesday.

Vehicles were submerged in the floodwaters and eight people lost their lives.

The PPSB leader and daughter of Murtaza Bhutto in a post on X said “The people have a god given right to fury,” she wrote.

Fatima added that civilians should stop voting for corrupt officials “who grow richer while the people drown.”
