ISLAMABAD: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Li has arrived Islamabad to jointly lead the Strategic Dialogue scheduled for tomorrow.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received his Chinese counterpart upon arrival at the airport.A statement from the Foreign Office in Islamabad noted that, at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Mr. Wang Yi, a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China and China’s Foreign Minister, is visiting Islamabad to co-chair the 6th Pakistan-China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue, which is set to take place on August 21, 2025.
This visit underscores the ongoing high-level interactions between Pakistan and China, aimed at strengthening their “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership.” The discussions are expected to reaffirm mutual support on core national interests, bolster economic and trade ties, and reinforce their joint commitment to regional peace, development, and stability.
