PCB rejects rumors regarding removal of Rizwan, Shan Masood from ODI, test captaincies

Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has rejected all the news regarding removal of Shan Masood and Muhammad Rizwan from their captaincy of the test squad and the ODI.

The PCB said that neither the selection committee meeting has discussed the matter nor the pa- category of any player has been changed.؟

Sources said that the the PCB has declared all the news regarding the issue is totally baseless.

It is merit to mention that a news had surfaced that which claimed that the PCB was considering to appoint Salman Ali Aga and Saud Shakeel as the skipper in ODI and Test respectively after removing Muhmmad Rizwan and Shan Masood from their respective roles.

Initially it is reported that the PCB think tank consulted on the matter before departure of Pakistan Cricket Team to Dubai.

Shan Masood, Pakistan test skipper has degraded to the most lower D category and it is hint that he can’t escape losing his captaincy role.

The news claimed that the selection committee and head coach wanted to make Salman Ali Agha captain on long term basis.

On the other hand, the selection committee also satisfied with Saud Shakeel with his role as a skipper of Pakistan Shaheens while later on, the ODI and Test captains will be announced after Asia Cup.
