RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff, General Asim Munir, engaged in a telephone conversation with Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, the Iranian Army’s Commander.
The Iranian Embassy released a statement confirming that both leaders agreed on efforts to combat terrorism along the common borders and to enhance border security.
According to Iranian media, Major General Mousavi extended his sympathies to those impacted by recent floods in Pakistan, noting Iran’s readiness to provide all necessary assistance to support its Pakistani counterparts.
He also highlighted the positive trajectory of Iran-Pakistan relations, stressing that both nations are committed to deepening cooperation and dialogue across multiple fields
