ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari will visit China from tomorrow, September 12
According to diplomatic sources, surprisingly, President Zardari’s visit to China is based on a fairly long schedule.Diplomatic sources said the eight to 10-day visit will continue from September 12 to 20 and President Asif Ali Zardari will go to Shanghai in the first part of the visit.
Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will also likely be part of the president’s delegation.A high-level delegation will also accompany President Asif Ali Zardari to China. President Zardari is expected to meet with the Chinese leadership and leaders of the Chinese Communist Party during the visit to China.
The meetings will include promoting Pak-China friendship, renewing relations between the Pakistan People’s Party and the Communist Party of China.
During the visit, President Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will also congratulate China on the occasion of defeat of fascist Japan by China.
President Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will also participate in multilateral forums during the visit. Chinese investment in Pakistan, oil and gas exploration, as well as CPEC 2.0 are also expected to be discussed.
