Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday inaugurated the stone laying ceremony of T-Chowk Flyover in Islamabad .
Addressing the ceremony, PM Shehbaz said T-Chowk Islamabad flyover will prove to be a milestone for the residents of Rawalpindi and surrounding areas as one kilometer flyover will facilitate access to expressway Islamabad and other routs.
The Prime Minister lauded the efforts of the Interior Minister and CDA for the T-Chowk project.
However, PM made it clear that there should be no compromise on quality in the completion of development projects.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also announced that Pakistan will host the SCO Summit in 2027.
The Prime Minister said Mohsin Naqvi and Hanif Abbasi were working on a new project to facilitate travel in the twin cities.
The proposed rail car project will provide more convenience to the residents of the twin cities, said the Prime Minister.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi addressing the ceremony said the expressway was completed a few months ago. Naqvi said the residents of Rawalpindi and Islamabad will benefit from the T-Chowk flyover.
He said expressway was designed in such a way that not a single inch of land had to be purchased. Mohsin Naqvi said all targets will be completed on time and quality will be maintained at all cost.
