Prime Minister arrives in Riyadh for high-Level talks with Saudi Crown Prince

RIYADH: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Riyadh on an official visit to Saudi Arabia, at the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

According to the detail, the Prime Minister and the accompanying Pakistani delegation were warmly received by Riyadh’s Deputy Governor Prince Muhammad bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmad Farooq, and senior diplomatic officials.Pakistani flags were hoisted throughout the city to mark the Prime Minister’s visit.

Shehbaz Sharif was accorded a 21-gun salute, while a smartly turned-out contingent of the Saudi armed forces also presented a salute to the Prime Minister.

Later, the Prime Minister Sharif will proceed to the Royal Court at Al-Yamamah palace for a meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, where a formal reception for the Prime Minister and the Pakistani delegation will be held at the palace.

During the bilateral meeting, both the leaders will review all the aspect of Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations. They will also exchange views on regional and global developments of mutual interest.

The visit is expected to yield tangible progress in enhancing cooperation across various sectors, reflecting the shared commitment to further strengthen the deep-rooted and brotherly ties between the two nations.
