KARACHI: The Anosh Foundation, under the leadership of its Chairman Anosh Ahmed, organized a grand Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) celebration at the Karachi Press Club (KPC). The event marked the blessed birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and created an atmosphere filled with devotion and unity.

The event marked the blessed birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and created an atmosphere filled with devotion and unity.
A large number of journalists, religious scholars, and media representatives attended the Mehfil. Among the prominent participants were Karachi Press Club President Fazil Jamili, Secretary Sohail Afzal Khan, Joint Secretary M. Munsif, Treasurer Imran Ayub, Muhammad Rizwan Bhatti, former Secretary Raja Kamran, and former Treasurer. Their presence reflected the strong connection between the media community and cultural traditions.

The program opened with a soulful recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Gullam Hussain. Pakistan’s legendary Naat Khawan, Alhaj Siddique Ismail, then graced the stage with his heart-touching performance. Other well-known reciters, including Faisal Hassan Naqshbandi, Muhammad Asad Ayub, Muhammad Zubair, and Sumair Ahmed, also presented Naats in praise of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Several journalists such as Hafiz Salman Tariq, Ayaz Siddiqui, Wajid Hussain Ansari, Sibt-e-Hassan, and Shafiq Ahmed joined in, adding further depth to the Mehfil.

The hall echoed with Durood and Salam as participants expressed their love and reverence for the Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him). The spiritual energy of the gathering left many overwhelmed, and attendees described it as a historic and uplifting event.
To honor the contributors, shields were presented to Naat reciters and Karachi Press Club office bearers. One of the most memorable moments was the balloting of a luxury five-star Umrah package. The selected participant was given the opportunity to perform the sacred journey with all necessary facilities included. Guests were also treated to a traditional grand feast, which added to the celebratory spirit of the day.

Speaking on the significance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, Anosh Ahmed said that the celebration is not only about joy but also about renewing the commitment to follow the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). He explained that the life of the Prophet provides guidance for all aspects of human existence and that adopting these values is the real guarantee of peace and progress in society.
“Milad-un-Nabi strengthens our faith and reminds us of the Prophet’s role as a guiding light,” said Anosh Ahmed. “The message of this blessed day is unity, love, and brotherhood. By practicing the values of compassion and honesty, we can build a society free from hatred and division.”
He further added that the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) remain as relevant today as they were centuries ago. According to him, celebrating the Prophet’s life should inspire positive change in individuals and communities alike. Anosh Ahmed also expressed gratitude to the Karachi Press Club administration for supporting the event and making it successful.
In his concluding remarks, Karachi Press Club President Fazil Jamili praised the Anosh Foundation for organizing such a meaningful Mehfil. He highlighted the importance of promoting unity and spirituality in today’s world and thanked the foundation for bringing together diverse voices under one roof.
The program ended with a collective prayer for the peace, safety, and prosperity of Pakistan. Participants left with renewed inspiration, describing the Mehfil as a memorable celebration of faith and togetherness.
