Oscar winner Angelina Jolie says ” I don’t recognise today’s America”

WEB DESK: Hollywood Queen and Oscar winner super star Angelina Jolie said that she doesn’t recognize today’s America that divided and limits People’s expressions.

Angelina Jolie addressed the ongoing free speech debate in the United States.

The Oscar-winning actress was asked at a film festival in Spain over the weekend, “What do you fear as an artist and as an American?”

“It is a very difficult question,” Jolie said, according to The Guardian.

“I love my country, but at this time, I don’t recognize my country,” the actress said. “I’ve always lived internationally, my family is international, my friends, my life.”

She added, “My worldview is equal, united, and international. I believe that anything that divides or limits people’s personal expressions and freedoms is extremely dangerous.”

“These are such serious times that we have to be careful not to say things casually,” the actress stated. “These are very, very heavy times we are living in together.”

Her comments come after ABC pulled Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show “indefinitely” due to controversy over his recent comments about Charlie Kirk’s death.
