Farooq Sattar lambastes on Mayor Karachi over stopping work forcibly on Green Line Project

Karachi: The Muttahida Quami Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Dr Farooq Sattar has said that Mayor Karachi has decided neither he himself will do any work nor let other one do.

Holding a presser today at Bahadarabad headquarter of the party along with other leaders, Dr Farooq Sattar said that with the efforts of the party the Green Line Project was now going towards completion.

The MQM-P stalwart elaborating further said that it is the line of a distance 24 to 25 km which has to be taken forward from Numaish Chowrangi.

He apprised that the MQM-P with consultation with PM and federal ministers removed hurdles in the way of extension of the project and work kicked off on the project.

He said, unfortunately, the Mayor could not swallowed this development and making excuse of NOC stopped the work on the project on September 18.

He said “He thinks that paper fulfillment of the NOC is completed but he doesn’t stop the work and let continue the work.”

He hurled accusation on the Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab that he stopped the work forcibly.

He said that through rigged local bodies mayor’s election by Pakistan People Party’s (PPP) provincial government, the Mayor elected from it.
