KARACHI: Pakistan Stock Exchange achieved another milestone and surpassed a psychological barrier of one lac sixty one thousand points for the first time in the history during the trading today.
The hundred index that closed at one lac fifty-nine thousand two hundred and eighty (159,280) points yesterday reached one lac sixty one thousand six hundred seventy seven (161,677), showing an increase of more than two thousand three hundred points in the hundred index.
The continued upward trend in the stock exchange reflects the increasing confidence of the trade and business community on economic policies of the government.
