ISLAMABAD: Shaheen Shah Afridi has been appointed as the captain of the Pakistan national one-day international (ODI) team. The left-arm pacer will lead Pakistan in the upcoming three match ODI series against South Africa.
The series is scheduled to take place from November 4 to November 8 at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.The decision to appoint Shaheen Shah Afridi as captain was made during a meeting held in Islamabad. The meeting was attended by Head Coach Micky Arthur, High Performance Director Aaqib Javed, and members of the selection committee.
