RAWALPINDI: Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, the Spokesperson for the Pakistan Army, stated that Pakistan has implemented effective measures to address the presence of Khawarij in Afghanistan. He assured that the Pakistan Army will continue to stand as an unyielding barrier against any form of hostility in the future.
During a visit to the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in Topi (Swabi), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif discussed key issues, including the recent Pak-Afghan border skirmishes, the prevailing security situation, and the influence of social media.
He emphasized that the youth are the cornerstone of the nation’s bright future, highlighting their pivotal role in the country’s development and prosperity.
On this occasion, both students and faculty members honored the sacrifices and contributions of Pakistan Army martyrs and veterans. Students expressed their belief that more interactive and enlightening sessions like this would help combat disinformation and propaganda.
They also acknowledged the critical role the Pakistan Army plays in securing peace and fostering national progress. Commending the army’s strong and decisive actions against adversaries, they shared their pride in these efforts.
