DUBAI: During the Dubai Airshow 2025, Indian Air Force personnel displayed admiration for the Pakistan Air Force and its iconic JF-17 Thunder fighter jet. They captured numerous photos alongside the aircraft and expressed keen interest in Pakistan’s aviation technology.
Once again, the JF-17 Thunder stole the spotlight at the event, reaffirming Pakistan’s strength in aerospace innovation. Following Pakistan Air Force’s impressive performance in the “Battle of Truth” exercise, international praise for the PAF has surged, with even Indian officers visibly impressed by Pakistan’s capabilities.
At the pavilion, Indian officers viewed Pakistan’s advanced weaponry and technology with curiosity. Pakistani officials extended a warm invitation to the Indian guests to enjoy some tea, reflecting their hospitality. The Pakistani pilots offered the beverage, saying, “Come, let us serve you tea,” though the Indian personnel politely declined, opting for water instead.
Pakistani officials underscored their tradition of warm welcomes and professional hospitality. Meanwhile, Indian Air Force personnel also expressed admiration for the JF-17 Thunder aircraft.
Social media images show Indian pilots enthusiastically taking photos with the JF-17 Thunder at the display area. The event has sparked reactions on social platforms, with some Indian users making sarcastic remarks, such as, “Pilots can share a laugh, but cricketers cannot even shake hands?”
In contrast, a Pakistani Facebook user praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Air Force, stating, “PAF welcomes guests with dignity and offers a ‘fantastic’ cup of tea without hesitation.”
