RAWALPIMDI: During a series of coordinated intelligence-driven operations conducted on 20–21 November.
As per detail. Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies eliminated thirteen militants affiliated with the Indian-backed network Fitna Al-Khwarij in two separate encounters across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Acting on confirmed intelligence regarding militant presence, a joint operation was launched in the Paharkhel area of Lakki Marwat District. Security personnel engaged the militants’ hideout, and following a fierce exchange of fire, ten terrorists were killed.
In a second intelligence-led action in Dera Ismail Khan District, security forces came under fire during the clearance operation. Responding swiftly and decisively, troops neutralised three militants.
A cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the slain terrorists, all of whom had been involved in attacks against Security Forces, Law Enforcement Agencies, and the targeted killing of civilians.
Area sanitization is under way to ensure no remaining Indian-sponsored militants persist in the region. These actions form part of the ongoing, unwavering Counter-Terrorism drive under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” vision approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan. Security Forces reaffirm their resolve to eradicate all forms of foreign-backed terrorism and restore long-term peace across Pakistan.
