RAWAlPINDI: H.E. General Fayyadh Bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of General Staff of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met with General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, NI, NI (M), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) at Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
During their discussions, both leaders exchanged views on the evolving global and regional security landscape. They also deliberated on practical steps to enhance collaboration between the Armed Forces of the two nations and reaffirmed their shared commitment to bolstering defence and security ties.
The CJCSC emphasized Pakistan’s steadfast dedication to safeguarding Saudi Arabia’s territorial integrity and ensuring the security of Harmain al-Sharifain.
General Fayyadh Bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili lauded the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their profound sacrifices in combating terrorism. He also appreciated the significant efforts of the CJCSC in strengthening the strategic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Upon his arrival at Joint Staff Headquarters, the visiting dignitary was presented with a guard of honour by a well-coordinated tri-services contingent.
