RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir has reaffirmed that the Pakistan Army remains completely vigilant against both domestic and external challenges, including hostile hybrid warfare, extremist narratives, and forces attempting to create internal discord.
He expressed these views during interactions with officers and troops while visiting the Gujranwala and Sialkot Garrisons. During the visit, Field Marshal Munir received a detailed briefing on the formations’ operational preparedness and ongoing measures aimed at enhancing combat effectiveness.
He also observed a field training exercise and inspected a state-of-the-art simulator training facility, praising the troops for their professionalism and high level of operational readiness.
Highlighting the evolving nature of warfare, the army chief stressed that contemporary conflicts require technological adaptability, rapid decision-making, precision, and enhanced situational awareness.
Commending the soldiers’ morale and dedication, He emphasized the necessity of continuous, focused, and mission-driven training to safeguard national security.
Upon his arrival in Gujranwala, Field Marshal Munir was welcomed by the Corps Commander Gujranwala.
