LAHORE: A devastating traffic accident on Ashiana Road near the Kamahan Interchange has resulted in one fatality and left nine others injured. The incident involved a high-impact collision between a car and a truck in Lahore, prompting an immediate response from rescue teams.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, three critically injured individuals were swiftly transported to a hospital for medical attention, while six others received on-site first aid.
Rescue sources reported that relief operations were conducted efficiently, and the police have begun legal proceedings to determine the cause of the accident.
In a separate incident earlier, another tragic road accident occurred near Bahawalnagar, claiming one life and leaving three others injured. The crash took place in Chak/47 Fateh, where two motorcycles collided due to overspeeding. One person died instantly, and the remaining three sustained injuries.
Upon receiving information, police and rescue teams arrived promptly, transferring the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital for further care.
