ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have commended the security forces for their recent successful intelligence-driven operation against the Indian-backed extremist group, Fitna al Khwarij, in Bajaur.
In their statements, both leaders highlighted the significant progress made by security personnel in targeting and neutralizing militants associated with the Khwarij network. They also paid tribute to the brave martyr, Major Adeel Zaman, who sacrificed his life during the operation.
Expressing deep sorrow, the President and Prime Minister extended their heartfelt condolences to Major Adeel Zaman’s family, praising his valor and unwavering dedication to the nation. His sacrifice, they emphasized, exemplifies the spirit of patriotism and resilience.
Reaffirming their resolve, the leaders pledged to persist with relentless anti-terrorism campaigns, emphasizing that the nation remains united and determined to defeat terrorism in all its forms. They assured the people that the fight against extremism will continue with full vigor and commitment.
