Iran vows strong response to U.S. threat

TEHRAN: Iran has issued a strong warning following U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent threat of a possible military strike, vowing to retaliate decisively against any act of aggression.

Iranian President Masoud Medicalian conveyed that the response to any hostile move would be extremely severe. In a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), he stressed that Iran’s retaliation to any unjustified attack would be vigorous and unwavering.

Furthermore, the Iranian Parliament has reaffirmed its commitment to defending the country. Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer declared that Iran does not require permission to protect itself and warned that the Iranian people’s reaction to any provocations would be unpredictable.

It is important to note that last night, President Trump, during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida, expressed support for striking Iran if it proceeds with restarting its nuclear activities.

After the meeting, Trump told the press that Iran is trying to resume its nuclear program, and he warned that if Iran continues its nuclear pursuits, the U.S. would endorse swift military action against Iranian sites.

Trump emphasized that should Iran rebuild its nuclear infrastructure, it would have to be dismantled by force.
