MURREE: The Pakistan Army remains actively engaged in rescue and relief efforts as heavy snowfall blankets the northern areas of the country, including Murree, Swat, Kalam, Mohmand, Tirah Valley, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan.
Efforts are underway to clear blocked roads and ensure the safe movement of traffic. Rescuers have successfully evacuated stranded individuals and vehicles, relocating them to secure locations. Additionally, essential supplies such as food, warm clothing, and shelter are being provided to those affected by the severe weather conditions.
Special arrangements have been put in place to cater to the needs of vulnerable groups, including children, women, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.
Pakistan Army rescue teams are on the ground conducting immediate assessments, monitoring the situation, and responding to emergencies swiftly. The local population has expressed gratitude and appreciation for the army’s prompt and effective relief operations.
